The Israeli Occupation army radio announced Thursday the casualties among senior officers since October 7 last year, it reported the deaths of four brigade commanders, 39 faction commanders, 13 company commanders, and six officers with the rank of major during that period.

In response to Israeli Occupation violations in the occupied Palestinian territories, the military wing of Hamas, Al-Qassam Brigades, launched Operation Aqsa Typhoon.

Subsequently, the Israeli Occupation initiated a military operation against the Gaza Strip named "Operation Iron Swords," conducting numerous intense airstrikes across the strip. These attacks resulted in hundreds of fatalities, thousands of injuries, and widespread destruction of buildings, residential towers, institutions, and infrastructure.

The death toll of the Israeli Occupation army has reached 586 since October 7 and 246 since the commencement of the ground operation on October 27th.

Additionally, approximately 3,030 soldiers have been injured since the onset of the occupation's aggression on Gaza, with 475 in critical condition, 800 sustaining moderate injuries, and 1,755 suffering minor injuries, as reported by the Israeli Occupation army.
