The Ministry of Water and Irrigation / Jordan Valley Authority stated that the long-term annual average of rainfall has increased to 65 percent as of Monday morning, from the previous average of 8.1 billion cubic meters annually.

The ministry added that the total storage percentage in the main dams has risen to 130 million cubic meters, representing a total storage capacity of 45 percent of the total capacity of 288.128 million cubic meters.

The ministry clarified that Ajloun governorate recorded the highest amount of rainfall in the past twenty-four hours, with 16.4 millimeters.

Cold weather persists across Jordan on Monday, with varying intensity rainfall expected due to increased cloud cover in parts of northern, central, and southern Jordan, as reported by Arabia Weather.

Heavy rainfall may occur at times, possibly resulting in water levels rising on certain roads and leading to the flow of streams and valleys in low-lying areas.
