The Government Media Office in the Gaza Strip reported that 7,000 people are still missing under the rubble, and rescue teams have been unable to retrieve them,

In a statement on Thursday evening, the Office stated that “Israeli” forces had stolen about 300 bodies from cemeteries in the Gaza Strip and returned some of them.

The statement also indicated that 700,000 Palestinians in the sector have contracted infectious diseases due to their difficult living conditions.

The government media squarely placed responsibility on the Israeli authorities and the US administration for endangering the lives of 400,000 people.

It added that “Israeli” forces killed dozens of Palestinians as they sought food, emphasizing that displaced individuals in the sector can no longer find water, food, or medicine - and warned of famine in northern Gaza after the depletion of grains and food supplies.

As for the material destruction in the strip, the Media Office revealed that damages have exceeded USD 15 billion.

It called for the Rafah crossing to be permanently opened around the clock and without restrictions.
