His Royal Highness Crown Prince Hussein bin Abdullah met a group of dignitaries on Wednesday from Mafraq at the residence of Sheikh Khalid Nawwaf Al-Aitan in the Rehab area.

His Highness expressed his joy at the historic achievement of the national football team for qualifying for the 2023 Asian Cup final.

The Crown Prince and the attendees discussed several topics, during which they praised the coincidence of his visit to Mafraq with the twenty-fifth anniversary of the Day of Allegiance and Pledge, and his Majesty the King's assumption of constitutional powers.

The meeting discussed the status of the governorate across various sectors, the opportunities available to youth, and the importance of empowering them for the job market.

The situation in Gaza was also addressed, with His Royal Highness reaffirming Jordan's steadfast position towards the Palestinian brethren and providing all forms of support to the people in Gaza and the West Bank.
