South African President Cyril Ramaphosa said on Friday that the decisions of the International Court of Justice (ICJ) today are a victory for justice.

He added in a statement commenting on the ICJ's decision in the complaint filed by his country against the Israeli Occupation, that the decisions of the ICJ have proven that his country was right in filing the complaint against Tel Aviv.

He emphasized that Tel Aviv must take measures to stop incitement to genocide and allow essential services to reach Gaza.

He affirmed that the court's decision is binding for Tel Aviv and must be respected by all members of the Genocide Prevention Treaty.

He also stated that since October, the Palestinians have been victims of continuous shelling in which the Israeli Occupation has destroyed neighborhoods, schools, and hospitals.

The President of South Africa pointed out that Tel Aviv is now facing the international community, and its crimes against the Palestinians are clear for all to see.

He emphasized that his country will not back down from the principles of justice and fairness and does not want genocide to be practiced against other peoples.

He noted that the decision of the ICJ today represents a precedent in the international community's efforts to achieve justice in Gaza.
