Blinken calls to establish independent Palestinian state

US Secretary of State Antony Blinken stated Monday that “we need to establish an independent Palestinian state,” adding that he is heading towards Tel Aviv, the Occupied territories to discuss the future of the military campaign in Gaza.

“I will do my utmost to protect civilians, deliver humanitarian aid, and facilitate the release of detainees,” he added. “The escalation is not in the interest of either party, be it Tel Aviv or Lebanon,” he concluded.
