The Civil Aviation Regulatory Commission (CARC) issued a statement Monday urging entities engaged in aviation activities to ensure obtaining necessary approvals and to cease their activities before securing the required permissions.

The statement issued by CARC cited by Roya emphasized compliance with the provisions of Civil Aviation Law No. (41) of 2007 and its amendments. Based on the authority's responsibility to safeguard the safety and security of civil aviation and citizens, entities conducting aerial activities such as operating balloons, gliders, gyrocopters, vertical aircraft, and other activities without licenses and approvals from CARC are required to immediately cease these activities until their situations are rectified in accordance with the instructions of the commission.

The statement emphasized that these entities must review their status with the authority by the latest date of Jan. 21, 2024, to rectify their situations according to the relevant civil aviation instructions.

It warned that failure to comply with the instructions will result in taking necessary legal measures against violators.
