The Government of Rwanda issued a strong response to dispel disinformation circulating on alleged discussions between Rwanda and Israeli Occupation concerning the transfer of Palestinians from Gaza.

The refutation comes in response to a report by Zman Yisrael, a Hebrew news outlet, which the Rwandan authorities have deemed completely false.

In an official statement released on Jan. 5, 2024, the Rwandan Foreign Ministry emphasized that no such discussions have taken place, neither in the present nor in the past. The government categorically refuted the claims made by Zman Yisrael, labeling them as disinformation.

The Foreign Ministry urged the public and international community to disregard the false information, emphasizing that Rwanda remains committed to truth and transparency in its diplomatic engagements. This incident highlights the importance of verifying information from credible sources and the potential consequences of disinformation in diplomatic relations.
