Palestinian journalist describes 'catastrophic' situation at Kamal Adwan Hospital in Gaza

Palestinian journalist Imad Zqout described the situation at Kamal Adwan Hospital in Gaza as 'catastrophic,' stating that it has been completely taken out of service.

Zqout told Roya Saturday that the Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) invaded the hospital, causing destruction and widespread damage.

He added that IOF soldiers arrested several staff members and displaced individuals who were present at the hospital.

Furthermore, the bodies of the martyrs were not spared as the IOF used their vehicles to remove them.

According to Zqout, around 3,000 Palestinians had sought refuge at Kamal Adwan Hospital, with a significant number returning to their destroyed homes to retrieve essential belongings.

He pointed out that the IOF targeted the infrastructure of the Beit Lahia project and several roads that are now destroyed.

Zqout emphasized that the situation is 'catastrophic and extremely challenging,' as the destruction has affected electricity and communication networks.
