The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza announced that children's vaccines have completely run out in the Gaza Strip.

The ministry warned Wednesday of the catastrophic health repercussions of vaccine depletion and its impact on children's health, particularly in overcrowded shelters hosting displaced individuals.

Dr. Marwan Al-Hams, the director of the Shuhada Mohammed Yousef Al-Najjar Hospital in the southern Gaza Strip, had previously stated that measles is spreading among children in the Strip.

He mentioned that the hospital receives around 1,500 cases of gastrointestinal diseases daily.

He noted that the prevalence of gastrointestinal diseases in the hospital is a result of severe food shortages in the Gaza Strip.

He highlighted the spread of diarrhea and influenza among the displaced individuals in Rafah, describing the situation there as 'catastrophic.'
