'Israeli artillery' targets south Lebanon

Explosions were heard Thursday evening west of the border town of Ramish in southern Lebanon, due to artillery fire by the Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) - per Roya’s correspondent.

Six shells were launched by the IOF, falling near the location of the international UNIFIL forces on the outskirts of Marwahin and others on the outskirts of Rameya.

Alarm sirens sounded on Thursday north of the Occupied Palestinian territories, according to an official statement by the IOF.

A warning of an infiltration of an enemy drone from Lebanon was issued earlier Thursday; and the IOF’s air defense system successfully intercepted a suspicious aerial target coming from Lebanon into northern occupied Palestine - the statement added.
