Pregnant Palestinian woman fatally stabbed, two family members arrested

The Israeli Occupation police in Lydd have initiated inquiries into a stabbing incident involving a pregnant Palestinian woman in her twenties, a resident of the city.

The pregnant woman succumbed to her injuries at the medical center.

In a statement released on Thursday, the police noted the deployment of substantial police forces at the scene, evidence collection, and various investigative operations using technological means.

Two suspects, members of her family from Bedouin villages in the Negev, including a boy, were arrested on suspicion of involvement in the crime.

Their continued detention and submission to court will be determined at the conclusion of the investigation.
