Bahraini Parliament Member, Mohammed Musa Al-Balooshi, delivered a powerful and audacious speech on the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People, criticising the US, the UK, and France for their pro-Israeli Occupation stances in their aggression against the Gaza Strip.

"This day is for solidarity with the Palestinian people, but unfortunately, we have the American, French, and British ambassadors attending, who have supported the war and genocide against the Palestinian people in Gaza, carried out by the Zionist entity. They claim to stand in solidarity with the Palestinian people, but it's like [killing a victim and then mourning in their funeral]."

In his speech’s conclusion, he stated that he speaks for himself only and not for the Speaker of the Parliament, before announcing his withdrawal from the event in protest of the presence of the American, French, and British ambassadors.

The International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People is a United Nations-organised event held at the UN headquarters in New York as well as at the UN offices at Geneva, Vienna and Nairobi - it is generally held on November 29 of each year to mark the anniversary of resolution 181.
