The Director-General of Hospitals in Gaza, Mohammed Zqout, confirmed that fuel aid has not reached Al-Shifa, Kamal Adwan, and Baptist hospitals as of Wednesday.

Despite the urgent need for field hospitals, they have not yet become operational, he noted.

In addition to the hospitals being out of service and the deteriorating humanitarian situation in the sector, Zqout emphasized that the Israeli Occupation refuses to allow the use of a machine for chemotherapy for cancer patients.

He stated that the lack of water and hygiene supplies increases the risk of epidemics.
