The Director of the US Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) participated in discussions in the Qatari capital, regarding the expansion of the exchange deal to include Israeli Occupation male settlers and soldiers detained by the Palestinian resistance group Hamas, as reported by CNN.

According to a knowledgeable source, negotiators believe there are additional women and children held by Hamas, prompting discussions about extending the truce for two more days.

Officials from Tel Aviv, Washington, Doha and Cairo reportedly reached an agreement to work on extending the truce without deciding on its fate.

Simultaneously, the 'War Cabinet' in Tel Aviv convened at the Ministry of Defense to discuss a comprehensive prisoner exchange, aiming to release all detainees in Gaza in exchange for a long-term ceasefire.

However, public opinion in Tel Aviv and military and political leaders reject halting the aggression on Gaza at this stage.

On the fifth day of the ceasefire, members of the Al-Qassam Brigades and the Al-Quds Brigades participated in delivering the fifth batch of detainees, while 30 Palestinian prisoners left Ofer Prison.
