Journalist and activist Moataz Azaiza revealed receiving both “death threats and offers from the Israeli Occupation to stop documenting the ongoing aggression in the Gaza Strip and the suffering of its residents and to leave Gaza and surrender, in exchange for a good life.”

He shared this information in a statement on his personal account on X, formerly known as Twitter.

“Never gonna leave my lovely strip behind,” Azaiza added, indicating that others will “continue showing the world the RAW realities,” in the case that he’s “gone.”

Azaiza is a Palestinian journalist and activist who reports on a daily basis the tragic events ongoing in the Gaza Strip, through various social media platforms.

Earlier, a video circulated by activists showing the last appearance of journalist Hassouna Salim, before he was martyred in an airstrike conducted on Gaza by the Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF).

Hassouna said in his last message, which he himself documented in a video: “I am appearing in this video and I do not know if I will appear in another one…We, the journalists in Gaza, are being actively targeted.”

At least 48 journalists have been killed by the IOF since Oct. 7, with the total death toll of the aggression reaching 12,500 with over 32,500 wounded.
