Six reasons preventing humanitarian truce in Gaza according to Hebrew media
In Hebrew newspaper 'Yedioth Ahronoth' latest report, six reasons were listed that could prevent the Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) from agreeing on a humanitarian truce in Gaza.
The paper said that a truce in Gaza would allow Hamas to re-supply tunnels with various forms of aid, re-arm their fighters inside the same tunnels, and also allow them to utilize the downtime of the truce to further capture IOF fighters.
The IOF also considers a humanitarian truce an opportunity for Hamas to stockpile their rocket arsenal, in addition to re-locating the captives already held by them.
Reportedly, the IOF will agree to a humanitarian truce only lasting for five to six hours.
The IOF continues its intense military campaign against the Gaza Strip for 34 days in a row in addition to imposing a complete blockade preventing the access of basic supplies and fuel.
