Prime Minister, Bisher Khasawneh, stressed that any attempt to forcibly displace Palestinians is a 'red line' and a 'declaration of war' - in a meeting with officials.

The meeting was held to deliver updates on Jordan's efforts, led by His Majesty King Abdullah II, since day one to halt the aggression on Gaza and sustainably deliver humanitarian aid.

Khasawneh underscored the necessity of ending the impunity and protection that the Israeli Occupation enjoys, granting it a license to kill Palestinian civilians and criticizing the double standards in applying international humanitarian law in the crimes against Palestinian civilians.

"We are all united behind His Majesty the King, including institutions, parties, and citizens, in his honorable stance to support the Palestinian cause and stop the aggression on Gaza, as Jordan is the most capable of serving the Palestinian cause," he added, as he further expressed his gratitude to the Jordanian Armed Forces for delivering medical aid to the Jordanian field hospital in Gaza.

Khasawneh also highlighted that any attempt to bypass the establishment of an independent Palestinian state with full sovereignty based on the 1967 borders and with the capital of East Jerusalem is bound to fail.
