Ambassador Sufyan Al-Qudah, the official spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, stated that Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Ayman Safadi, will meet with US Secretary of State Antony Blinken in Amman on Saturday, November 4.

Qudah added in a statement that Safadi will discuss with his US counterpart the dire situation in Gaza and emphasize the urgent need to halt the war on the Strip, deliver immediate humanitarian aid to Gaza, protect civilians, and stress the necessity for Tel Aviv to abide by international law and humanitarian law and cease its ongoing violations.

Qudah pointed out that Safadi continues his regional and international contacts to formulate an effective international move to achieve a ceasefire and end the humanitarian disaster caused by the raging war.

Safadi had warned that the failure to stop this war, and the crimes committed by Tel Aviv, including depriving thousands of Palestinian civilians of food, medicine, and other essential services, all of which could rapidly lead the region into a regional war that threatens international peace and security.
