The Bahraini Council of Representatives stated that the Israeli Occupation ambassador has left Bahrain, and Bahrain has decided to bring back its ambassador from Tel Aviv.

In addition, economic relations with Israel have been suspended.

This reaffirms Bahrain's longstanding historical position in supporting the Palestinian cause and the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people, as declared by His Majesty the King in all conferences and occasions.

The Council emphasizes that the continued war, military operations and ongoing Israeli Occupation escalation in the absence of respect for international humanitarian law compel the Council to demand further resolutions and measures that safeguard the lives of innocents and civilians in Gaza and all Palestinian territories.

His Excellency the President of the Council of Representatives expressed his pride and admiration for the keen interest and support that His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the beloved King of the country, places on the Palestinian cause.

This includes a steadfast stance and an unwavering commitment to the right of the Palestinian people to establish an independent Palestinian state with its capital in East Jerusalem, in accordance with international decisions.
