The Israeli Occupation claimed to have revealed the identity of the official spokesperson of the Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, Abu Ubaida, in a video on X, which has fallen flat.

Adraee shared the video that he claimed exposes the identity and face of Abu Ubaida, who gained recognition for appearing in press conferences with his face covered, revealing only his eyes.

However, Abu Ubaida's identity has been known to everyone since 2014, when his image was first revealed in a broadcast by Al-Aqsa Channel, which is affiliated with the Hamas movement.

At the bottom of the screen during Abu Ubaida's speech, his full name was displayed: Hathaifa Sameer Abdullah Al-Kahlout, known as "Abu Ubaida."

This attempt comes as part of the Israeli Occupation's propaganda campaign, which was led by the spokesperson of the Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF), Avichay Adraee.
