Qassam announces release of two US captives
Qassam announced the release of two American captives, as announced by Abu Ubaida Friday.
"In response to Qatari efforts, Al-Qassam Brigades released two American citizens (a mother and her daughter) for humanitarian reasons, and to prove to the American people and the world that the claims made by Biden and his fascist administration are false and baseless," their statement read.
Earlier this week, Abu Ubaida said that Al-Qassam Brigades has at least 200 captives from the Israeli Occupation soldiers and settlers in Gaza, adding that there are 22 captives who were killed by the occupation’s bombing of Gaza.
This comes as Operation Aqsa Typhoon, launched by Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, continues for the 14th consecutive day in response to Israeli Occupation violations in the occupied Palestinian territories, which have been ongoing for decades.
In retaliation, the Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) has launched a campaign against the Gaza Strip, conducting a series of airstrikes in various areas.
