Yuri Ushakov, Foreign Policy Advisor to the Kremlin, stated that Russian President Vladimir Putin held separate phone calls on Monday with the leaders of Tel Aviv, Iran, Syria, Egypt, and Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas, aiming to end the war in Gaza that has been ongoing for 10 days.

Ushakov confirmed, as reported by media outlets, that Putin spoke with Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi and Syrian President Bashar al-Assad to discuss the developments in the region.

Putin also plans to speak with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, Abbas, and Israeli Occupation Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in order to alleviate the suffering of the Palestinians, according to Ushakov.

The "Operation Aqsa Typhoon" entered its tenth day, initiated by the Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, on Saturday, October 7, in response to Israeli Occupation violations in the occupied Palestinian territories.
