US Secretary of State Antony Blinken met with the Palestinian president Mahmud Abbas in Amman.

Blinken began a tour of Arab capitals as he seeks to build pressure on Hamas while the Israeli Occupation readies a likely massive attack on the Gaza Strip.

The top US diplomat earlier said that he would meet with His Majesty King Abdullah II and Palestinian President Mahmud Abbas in Amman and would then visit Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Egypt and the United Arab Emirates.

Blinken spent Thursday in Tel Aviv where he promised "unwavering solidarity" to US ally, the Israeli Occupation, in Gaza".
