The government media office in Gaza has warned that the electricity generation company is on the verge of shutting down due to a fuel shortage.

In a statement issued Wednesday morning, the office stated that this impending crisis could plunge the region into darkness, making it impossible to provide essential life services.

They emphasized that this dire situation endangers the lives of over 2.3 million people and urgently called upon the international community and humanitarian organizations to swiftly intervene to halt this grave violation of humanity and the multi-faceted mass killing.

They implored for the immediate resupply of Gaza with the means of survival and preventing its population from becoming hostages to the instruments of oppression used by the occupying forces.

Meanwhile, "Operation Aqsa Typhoon," initiated by al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, continues for the fifth consecutive day in response to Israeli violations in the occupied Palestinian territories.

The Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) launched a military offensive against Gaza, unleashing a series of intense airstrikes on various areas within the region.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health reported an increase in the number of casualties in Gaza and the West Bank, with 900 Palestinians martyred and 4,500 others sustaining various injuries.

In contrast, the number of Israeli Occupation soldiers and settlers killed has risen to 1,200, with 2,600 injured since Saturday morning.
