The Public Security Directorate (PSD) issued a statement Sunday emphasizing the utmost caution due to the rain. Traffic departments have warned of the danger of vehicles sliding on the roads with the onset of rain.

Significant changes in the weather are expected in Jordan in the coming days. The Kingdom will be affected by an air mass with cooler temperatures than usual, according to Chief Operating Officer at Arabia Weather Osama Al-Tarifi.

Tarifi told Roya that starting from Sunday morning, the Kingdom will be affected by an air mass, bringing moderate autumn weather with the appearance of some clouds. He noted that there is a chance of scattered rain showers.

He added that temperatures will decrease this week and the chances of scattered rain will increase on Tuesday.

Tarifi pointed out that the northern regions are the most likely to experience rainfall.
