Saudi Arabia has released an updated official map outlining its land and maritime borders, including islands. The map includes Palestine and left out "Israel"; a move that has sparked anger within the Israeli Occupation.

The electronic news outlet "Saudi Post" published the approved official map, noting that it irked the Israeli Occupation by ignoring the term "Israel."

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has called on governmental bodies, media outlets and academic circles to adopt the recently issued map.

The Saudi General Authority for Surveying and Geospatial Information emphasized the importance of providing organizers of international conferences and forums with updated official maps of the Kingdom, accurately depicting its international land and maritime borders, as well as its islands.

The Authority urged against the dissemination of any maps of the Kingdom other than this updated one, according to the official Saudi Press Agency.

It is worth noting that the updated map includes the islands of Tiran and Sanafir within the Kingdom's borders, following the agreement with Egypt in 2016 affirming their belonging to Saudi Arabia as part of its territorial waters.
