Israeli Occupation arrests 18 Palestinians

Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) carried out a large-scale arrest operation in the West Bank on Thursday, detaining 18 Palestinians, including two previously incarcerated individuals and two brothers.

In Bethlehem, the arrests included Amer Daraghmeh, 43, the secretary of the Fatah movement, as well as Suleiman Mazhar, 21, Wissam Al-Hasanat, 47, Muhammad Hamida, 19, Taqi al-Din Manasra, 26, and Ali Asakra, 18.

In Jenin, two young men were arrested near the Ya’bad town intersection, with one identified as Muhammad Turkman from Wadi Burqin. Meanwhile, in the northern Jordan Valley, Nimr Sawafta, 17, from the village of Bardala was detained.

Ramallah also witnessed arrests, including Nashmi Abu Rahma and his brother Luai from the village of Bil'in, along with freed prisoners Omar Hamdan and university student Anan Safi, as well as Saeed Nakhleh from the Jalazoun camp in the north.

From the town of Silwan, south of the Al-Aqsa Mosque, the IOF arrested Amir Salaymeh, Muhammad Maragha, and two boys, Moamen Salaymeh and Youssef Qabbani.
