A tragic incident unfolded in the Rusaifa District leading to the death of a 17-year-old boy after he was run over by a vehicle.

An official from the Central Traffic Department told Amen FM that the accident was attributed to the driver's lack of compliance with safety measures and traffic laws.

The young victim's body was transported to a nearby governmental hospital.

Investigations are underway.
