Ben-Gvir took to Twitter, directly addressing renowned American-Palestinian model and activist, Bella Hadid, who called him out for saying that the safety of Jewish settlers in the West Bank takes precedence over the rights of Palestinians.

In a recent interview with local Channel 12 News, Ben-Gvir claimed that his right, along with his family's, to travel safely in the West Bank takes precedence over the rights of Palestinians. This statement was made in the aftermath of an attack near Hebron that resulted in the murder of a woman from a nearby settlement.

The National Security Minister asserted, "My right, my family's right, and my children's right to travel safely on the roads comes before the right to travel for Palestinians. The right to life comes before the freedom of movement, and that is just the way it is."

Hadid, a vocal supporter of the Palestinian cause, responded to Ben-Gvir's comments on her Instagram platform, reaching her 60 million followers. She stated, "In no place, no time, especially in 2023 should one life be more valuable than another's. Especially simply because of their ethnicity, culture, or pure hatred."

In his tweet, Ben-Gvir invited Hadid to visit Kiryat Arba, a settlement near Hebron, to witness the "reality on the ground and understand the security concerns faced by Israelis."

He also reiterated that the safety of Jewish settlers in the West Bank outweighs the rights of Palestinians who "throw stones" at settlers.
