The Public Security Directorate (PSD) has taken stringent measures to closely monitor incidents of firing shots during celebrations, sending a clear warning to those engaging in this reckless behavior.

People who commit such acts will be apprehended and brought to justice to face the full weight of the law as a deterrent, the PSD stressed.

In light of the recent incidents, the PSD called on citizens to actively cooperate with the authorities in reporting such cases and identifying those who fire shots.

The PSD emphasized the importance of social responsibility and urged the community to reject this dangerous phenomenon, safeguard public safety, and prevent any activities that may endanger innocent lives.

The Director of PSD in Balqa Jumaa al-Hamayda said that two individuals were arrested for firing shots during a graduation ceremony. The weapons have been seized and legal action is being taken against both individuals.

Despite prior warnings given during a visit to the graduate's house, where they were urged not to fire shots, some individuals still indulged in this reckless behavior. This irresponsible behavior poses a significant threat to the safety of residents in the vicinity of the shooting, Hamayda warned.

In line with directives from higher authorities, the PSD intensified its efforts to address this issue. Undercover officers work around the clock to monitor such incidents, and incoming reports are investigated promptly and discreetly.
