A fuel tank inside a gas station exploded in Al-Qasr area in Karak, according to a security source Friday evening.

The source told Roya that the Karak Operations Room was notified of the explosion and sent officers to the location.

Upon arrival at the scene, the security officers discovered that an electrical transformer near the gas station had caught fire, leading to the subsequent explosion of the fuel tank.

Fortunately, the explosion did not cause a fire, and there were no reported injuries as a result of the incident.
