Palestine's swimming team wins six medals at Arab Sports Games

The Palestinian swimming team has raised their country's medal count to six at the 15th Arab Sports Games in Algeria, as reported by the Palestinian news agency WAFA Saturday.

After swimmer Yazan Al-Bawab won the 50-meter freestyle race, the team had a total of four gold medals.

Swimmer Valerie Tarazi won two silver medals for the team in the 50-meter butterfly and 100-meter breaststroke races.

Last Wednesday, Bawab and Tarazi won three gold medals for Palestine which is a first in Palestine's history.

Tarazi won Palestine's first two gold medals in the 50-meter breaststroke race and the 100-meter backstroke race.
