A 12-year-old boy Louay Abu Deif was fatally electrocuted during the Eid Al-Adha holiday in Southern Shouna.

Louay's friends from Al-Jawasra Elementary School for Boys mourned his death shortly after the start of summer break.

People expressed their shock and grief on social media platforms along with pictures of Abu Deif.

The Ministry of Education also shared a statement on its official Facebook page extending it condolences to his family and loved ones.
