The local community center for women in Talbiya camp, south of Amman, hosted a workshop in cooperation with Qased for Training and Empowerment.

The workshop was titled "Challenges Facing Women in the Upcoming Parliamentary Elections," which 27 women attended from the local community.

Director General Nariman Al-Khawalid said that the workshop focused on political participation and parties, and the role of the three authorities.

The director of the center Wafia Abu Loz said that the workshop was introductory and indicative of the challenges that women face during the different stages of the electoral process.

The Executive Director of Qased Saleh Abu Shareb stated that the workshop came to shed light on the social and demographic challenges facing women in the parliamentary elections.
