Rashid Al Rabab'a, a Media and Communications graduate, has made headlines as the first Braille news presenter in the Arab world.

Joining Roya Media Group (RMG) in May 2023, Rabab'a's debut appearance on Roya TV showcased his resilience, passion, and professionalism as he translates and presents news in Braille for broadcast and social media sharing.

Rabab'a expressed gratitude towards RMG for believing in him and viewed his inclusion as a pivotal moment in his challenging journey towards a media career, highlighting the group's social responsibility.

He said that Roya 'believed in him,' after a long time of being discouraged and rejected.

He added that joining Roya represents a turning point in his difficult and challenging journey in pursuing a career in media

Rabab'a expressed his appreciation for RMG and said that the decision to welcome him onboard 'reflects the group's responsibility towards society.'
