Thursday, people who traveled from Amman's Queen Alia International Airport (QAIA) in Jordan got a 'Celebrating Al Hussein' stamp in celebration of the Royal Wedding.

The wedding ceremony of His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein and Miss Rajwa Al Saif will start Thursday afternoon.

Royal banquet

Wednesday, a royal banquet was held at the ‘Madareb Bani Hashem’ at the Royal Hashemite Court (RHC), in celebration of the Royal Wedding.

During the event, His Majesty King Abdullah II delivered a speech and presented HRH with the 'Sword of Justice and Defense.'

The dinner was attended by approximately 4,000 people.

Henna

On May 22, Her Majesty Queen Rania hosted a traditional Henna and dinner party, attended by more than 500 women from across the Kingdom.

The event featured performances by local singers, musicians, and folkloric dance groups. Henna artists were also on hand to apply intricate designs for guests using a natural temporary dye.

This pre-wedding tradition has been performed in the Middle East for centuries and is said to bring blessings to the couple’s union.
