The Mayor of Amman, Yousef Al-Shawarbeh, took to Twitter on Saturday to announce that citizens will enjoy free rides on the Amman bus and Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) system on June 1.

This initiative aligns with the wedding ceremony of His Highness Prince Hussein bin Abdullah II, the Crown Prince.

Shawarbeh also extended his congratulations to His Majesty King Abdullah II and Queen Rania Al Abdullah on this joyous occasion.

Jordanians are eagerly anticipating the wedding festivities, with preparations for various celebratory activities underway across all governorates.
