Settlers violently attacked Palestinian youths in Jerusalem's Old City during the Flag March, as documented in photos that circulated on the internet.

The images showed settlers assaulting a Palestinian individual, beating and knocking him to the ground.

Prior to the march, the Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) coerced the owners of carpentry shops in the Old City to shut down their businesses at gunpoint, claiming it was necessary to ensure security for the event. The merchants committee in Jerusalem issued a statement confirming this incident.

To secure the provocative Flag March, the IOF intensified their military presence in Jerusalem and its Old City, effectively transforming it into a military base. They deployed hundreds of police officers to the city, established military checkpoints on major roads, and closed off certain main routes.
