Sudanese army announced that it would secure the evacuation of the Jordanian mission by land to Port Sudan and from there by air to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.

The Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) published on its Facebook page Saturday that the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, received calls from the heads of several countries to facilitate a secure evacuation of their nationals and diplomats from Sudan.

Those who will be evacuated in the upcoming hours will be from Jordan, the United States, the United Kingdom, France and China.

Earlier, the Saudi mission was evacuated by land to Port Sudan and from there by air to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and the departure of the Jordanian mission will be secured at a later time in the same manner, according to the SAF statement.
