Explosions and gunfire were heard in the Capital of Sudan, Khartoum, according to AFP.

Witnesses said that “confrontations” broke out and explosions and gunfire were heard near a base where the Rapid Support Forces are stationed in southern Khartoum.

Gunfire was also heard near Khartoum airport and in the north of the Sudanese capital.

Sudan have been witnesses clashes between its army and the armed Rapid Support Forces.
