Monday, a military vehicle was swept away by torrential rain in the Wadi Araba region.

Lieutenant Muthanna Al-Shgairat and a driver were inside the vehicle when it was swept away.

The vehicle and the driver were found, but search operations are ongoing to find Shgairat.

Notably, rescue teams faced great difficulty during the search operation, due to the difficult terrain and heavy rain.

The operation was supported by the Civil Defense Directorate and Royal Jordanian Air Force.
