Roya's correspondent in Palestine reported that there is extreme overcrowding at the Qalandia checkpoint, north of Jerusalem, as well as the 300 military checkpoint, north of Bethlehem, since Friday morning.

He said that this comes as a result of the strict measures imposed by the Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF), to prevent worshipers from entering Al-Aqsa Mosque to take part in the second Friday prayer of the holy month of Ramadan.

Notably, tens of thousands performed the Isha and Tarawih prayers in Al-Aqsa Thursday night and hundreds of worshipers participated in the group iftars held at Al-Aqsa courtyards.
