Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) detained six Palestinians across the occupied West Bank between Thursday night and Friday morning, as reported by the Palestinian news agency WAFA.

According to local and security sources, armed IOF soldiers detained two Palestinians from the vicinity of Bab al-Amoud and another near Bab Al-Asbat plaza in Jerusalem.

The IOF also assaulted and detained a 17-year-old boy during confrontations in al-Khader town, south of Bethlehem.

A resident of Kafa village, south of Tulkarem, was also detained.

IOF soldiers manning the Tayasir checkpoint, east of Tubas, detained one man from the city.

According to the latest figures from Addameer, the Palestinian Prisoner Support and Human Rights Association, currently there are 4,780 Palestinian political prisoners in Israeli Occupation prisons and detention centers, including 160 children and 29 female prisoners.
