No deaths from respiratory syncytial virus in Jordan: Health Ministry

During the past period, around 15,000 children have been admitted to hospitals after getting infected with the respiratory syncytial virus (RSV), the Secretary-General of the Ministry of Health for Primary Health Care and Epidemiology Affairs Raed Shboul said Thursday.

Shboul added that 350 of these children were admitted to hospitals for a check-up, and all of them are in stable health condition.

He indicated that Jordan has not recorded any deaths resulting from the respiratory syncytial virus.
