Over 760,000 people in Jordan are called Mohammed

The department of Civil Status and Passports said that there are 760,582 people who hold the name Mohammed in Jordan; 679,93 of whom are Jordanian citizens, and 81,489 are foreigners.

The department added on Saturday that out of the 679,93 Jordanian people called Mohammed, 6,341 were registered in 2022.

Additionally, the number of foreigners who were registered under the name of Mohammed reached 81,489, and 947 of whom were registered this year.
