A stray bullet caused the death of a man in his twenties in the Abu Nseir area in Amman, according to a security source Thursday.

The source told Roya that the young man was hit by a stray bullet while walking on a street.

He was taken to a hospital, but upon arrival, he was already dead.

The source indicated that security services are currently searching for the shooter.

An investigation into the incident has been opened.
