79 percent of Russians trust Putin

An opinion poll conducted by the Russian Public Opinion Research Center revealed that 79 percent of Russians trust President Vladimir Putin.

According to the majority of respondents (81 percent), Russian President Vladimir Putin is doing well in his role.

The poll was conducted on August 7 on a sample of 1,500 people aged over 18 from more than 104 residential districts in 53 Russian regions.
