Monday, a shopping center in Ukraine’s Kremenchug caught fire after what the government said was a Russian missile strike, RT reported.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said “over a thousand civilians” were inside the mall, RT reported. It was later reported that ten were killed and around 40 injured.

“The occupiers fired rockets at the mall, where there were more than a thousand civilians,” Zelensky said.

“The mall is on fire, rescuers are fighting the fire, and the number of victims is impossible to imagine,” he continued.

However, the Russian military has not commented on the incident yet.

Since the launch of Moscow’s military operation in Ukraine, Russia has denied targeting civilians.
