Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelensky on Monday urged G7 leaders to "intensify sanctions" against Russia over its military operation in his country, a source told AFP.

Zelensky stressed the necessity to keep heaping "heavy" punitive action on Russia, and to "not lower the pressure" despite the multiple rounds of sanctions that Western allies have unleashed on Moscow.
